How to surf pages with frames and images
Sooner or later, you will encounter huge web sites with HTML pages
containing lots of (very often useless) graphics and frames. Here are
some tips on how to surf pages with frames and many images even on
slow PCs:
- Turn off autoload of images (Options - Preferences page)
- Turn off frames viewing (Options - Preferences page)
- Toggle image viewing mode using the <~> (tilde) key.
- Reload (<R> key), save/send (<F2> key),
delete from cache (<Del> key),
view document source (<F6> key),
view document information (<=> key)
save/send (<F2> key)
and
local edit (<F4> key)
functions always use URL of the active frame.
- You can use the right mouse button or <Shift>+<Enter>
to view an image or single frame as the main document.
- You can use the <F> key or mouse to select the active frame; when
using a mouse, clicking on the title bar will activate the parent frame.
